I recently spent three nights at the Clarion Collection Hotel Grimstad. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Grimstad. My room, a Queen Room, was charming and clean, with a nice view of a quiet side street. I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee available throughout the day, and the afternoon cake was a good treat. Breakfast had a rich selection, with local specialties that I really enjoyed. There were some noticeable issues.

The room was a bit compact but really well-designed. It felt fresh and clean since it was recently refurbished. I had a pleasant stay with a nice view of a quiet side street, away from any noise. Parking availability is a real issue!!! Limited options lead to unnecessary stress. Noise from nearby nightlife can be quite disruptive at night!!! Consider upgrading soundproofing in older rooms for a better experience.
